We Know: All About Flat Screen TVs
What is a Flat Screen TV?
A flat screen TV display is a flat panel. There are two kinds of flat screen displays: plasma and LCD. Their screens
are usually less than four inches thick.
CRTs (cathode ray tubes) are not flat screens. A CRT-based rear-projection TV is very large and can weigh as much as a
hundred pounds. As flat screens come down in price and increase in popularity, CRTs are becoming less common.
