We Know: All About Dust Collection Systems

About Dust Collection Systems

Dust and other fine particles generated by sawing, sanding, or other work can produce an unhealthy environment. To prevent health risks, a dust collection system that eliminates or minimizes the air particles is recommended for anyone working in a confined space. Some dust collection systems include the hose that connects from the collector to the machine, while others do not. Sizes of dust collectors vary, as does the number of machines that can be connected to it simultaneously.

Available Dust Collection Systems Features

Features vary by dust collector, but may include the following:

  • Quiet operation.
  • Four inch hose. Allows you to collect shavings and dust from your table saw, planer, and jointer.
  • Sturdy and long-lasting dust collection bags.
  • Quality connecting hose with minimum 5' length.
  • Casters for easy mobility.
  • Ability to hook up to multiple machines simultaneously.
  • Remote control unit for on/off operation.
  • Compact design.
  • Disposable see-through collection bags.
