We Know: All About Dual Flush Toilets

What Are Dual Flush Toilets?

Dual flush toilets offer two choices of water volume when flushing. The larger volume water flush is usually at or below water conservation levels, but the lower volume water flush is even less which saves water. The first lever or button is used to select the lower volume water flush, while the second lever or button is used to dispose of solid waste.

Most dual flush toilets are installed the same way as traditional toilets. Some counties and water companies will offer rebates to homes or businesses that install dual flush toilets.
